Buttered toast, Wrath of Khan & Magic Web Dust
Well I just returned from the HighEdWebDev 2006 conference in Rochester, NY and let me tell just say…I’m exhausted. I’ll post something profound and possibly useful in the next few days, but for now my immediate take away information was: I read “Don’t Make Me Think” by Steve Krug on the plane ride home, I discovered Ask A Ninja thanks to Daniel Frommelt (fantastic post conference session btw), and the absolutely wonderful Lori Packer sprinkled me with magic web dust over BBQ @ Dinosaur BBQ. The whole conference was a very cathartic joyous experience (and I was inspired to finally begin my own blog) and I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to those who worked so hard to put it all together. Also, let me just say that what happens in Club 25 stays in Club 25. Salut.

Hi Shelley! It was “absolutely wonderful” meeting you as well! Glad you had a great time, and hope to see you again next year. (Still bummed I didn’t spot those germ plushies in the gift shop; they sooo would have gone in the door prize bag.)

Great to meet you and congratulations on your blog! The conference sure was exhausting but well worth it. I’ll definitely go next year.
